A student, activist, and a leader at University of the Philippines. In 1983, he was elected chairperson of the University Student Council. He was presiding over the first meeting of the USC in the afternoon of August 21, 1983 at Vinzon's Hall, the day Ninoy Aquino was shot.
Murdered at 27, this eloquent and determined student leader opposed the status quo and fought for the rights of his fellow students, and fellow country man.
The legacy of Lean Alejandro is carried on with the Lean Alejandro Leadership Program to motivate and educate more and more students and student leaders alike to rise to the occasion.
